OH Fest

Before you continue to read, note that I am not an avid listener of the following band. I only feel they will bring a great concert to the greater Oneonta area.

I got a Facebook invite to the new OH Fest group the other week, and it got me to start thinking the obvious question: who should play OH Fest? I mean, after an all-star roster last year (The Ataris and Eve 6-I'm sorry, but 2002 called and they want their relevance back) what can we do to top it?

My theory for a little over 6 months now has been the following: get Third Eye Blind to play. They are around the same amount of money that The Ataris, Eve 6, the Journey cover band, and Rahzel were last year. They are also a bigger, more successful, more popular band. But I know what you are all thinking: that's only one band! What about the openers! Here's where the OH in OH Fest comes in.

We hold a Battle of the Bands at both Oneonta and Hartwick. The winner of those respective battles will go on to open for 3EB. This will make the concert more community-based, it will draw more people, and it'll be a fantastic show.
