It's time yet again for another absolutely fantastic Poll of the Week! Before I get to this week's hotly contested topic, let's discuss last week's results a little bit. Last week I asked "Where's the Best Pizza in town?" and 71 people answered the poll! Frankly that's more than I thought I was going to get, hopefully we can get back up to the record triple digit numbers from last semester!Anyways while Cosmo's and The Depot got some votes, the overwhelming majority was split between Mama Nina's and Sal's. Sal's takes home the prize with 29 votes to Mama Nina's 23.
Enough about pizza though, really. This week we're going to check the pulse of the Pwneonta readership and see how you guys feel about the proposed changes to the way our Meal Plans work next semester. No idea what I'm talking about? Well me neither really. All I know is what was in last week's State Times article and what I read at this Facebook group.
So tell me, How do you feel about the changes to next year's Dining Plans?
This would be a great option, if it were a choice. Forcing residents to have this as the end all be all of dining plans is unfair. The new plan doesn't allow for great to-go options, and it will probably make the food in Mills as great as the Bach is now.
ReplyDeleteI think the fact that choice is being taken away from us is terrible. I live in Higgins, and have been hearing conflicting reports on if the Higgins plan will still be available. If not, they wasted a shit ton of money building these dorms with kitchens that no one will ever use anymore since we might as well go eat the crap we paid for.
ReplyDeleteThey've plainly stated a bunch of times that the Higgins plan is here to stay. It's just gonna be $1000 Instead of the $950 it is now. Go to the Facebook group I linked, they put up the whole plan there today.

ReplyDeleteI'm kinda sad that I won't be around to use the new food facilities (that much) since I'll be living off campus. But maybe it's for the best.
